A worthy prequel to pave the way.

As I child, I was horribly teased and laughed at. It went on for many years, as my family couldn’t afford to get my teeth straightened until my senior year of high school. There were other unflattering things about my image as well, and that contributed to me being ostracized in school settings. I also encountered full-on bullies, having been targeted, chased, and threatened by them on various occasions. The First Yaqarian: Princess of Jesus is a novel that focuses on the theme of bullying, and I present—through the story—a heartfelt message for anyone who needs it. I needed a story to pave the way for the 12-book series, and Madison’s story became a fitting one to do so. Not only does it have all the elements of the prequel I intended (a book that introduces us to the world of Eretsia, to the idea of the twins so that we can be excited when we finally see them, and to a forerunner in Madison that can, one day, inspire the twins to do even greater things), but it is also a book that can make a special difference in the lives of so many people, especially those who experience self consciousness issues, self-value issues, loneliness, and being bullied.
